Chromium Zirconium Copper Tube

Introduction

Chromium zirconium copper tube has high hardness, excellent wear and corrosion resistance, explosion and crack resistance, which is suitable for welding electrode, but not for electroplating.

Characteristic

After aging process, the hardness, the strength, the electrical and thermal conductivity, and wear resistance can be remarkably improved. So it can be widely used in motor commutator, spot welding, seam welding, strength, hardness, conductivity, conductive pad of parts for welding electrodes, and other parts with high temperature requirements. Compared with bronze and brass, it has lower contact resistance and better instantaneous high-temperature performance, and the service life is greatly longer than the pure copper.

Application

There are some applications of chromium zirconium copper tube:
1. Resistance welding electrode: Used primarily as spot welding or seam welding low carbon steel, coated steel electrodes or as stainless steel and heat-resistant steel mold or inlaid electrode;
2. Mold material: Because of its superior thermal conductivity properties, explosion resistance, in the mold industry can replace beryllium copper, such as plumbing mold, connectors, as well as some of products with high requirements in toughness and strength.
