Characteristic

Process

Beryllium copper alloy is typical of aging precipitation hardening type alloy. The basic process of high strength beryllium copper is: at 760-830 ℃ appropriate incubation time (typically 25mm thickness of insulation required at least 1h), so that the full solution of solute atoms beryllium copper precursor to form a face-centered cubic lattice of α-phase supersaturated solid solution. Subsequently, at 320-340 ℃ insulation 2-3h, complete exsolution precipitation process, the formation of γ-phase (metastable phase). Which meet to form a coherent and maternal stress field and strengthen the base.
