This refractory metal composite material is a combination of tungsten and copper. The production process is as follows: press the refractory metal powder, sinter the pressed material at a high temperature, and infiltrate it with copper. All these are carried out under very strict conditions. This makes a hard material with superior arc and wear resistance, as well as good electrical and thermal conductivity.
