Copper Tungsten Strip
Copper tungsten strip refers to a strip material made by mixing tungsten and copper in a certain proportion, and the commonly used tungsten content is 50%~90%. The alloy strip has excellent properties such as high strength, high hardness, high density, high thermal conductivity and high wear resistance, and is widely used in electronics, electric power, medical treatment, communication, aerospace, military and other fields.
The thickness of the copper tungsten strip is generally between 0.05mm and 3mm, and the specific thickness should be selected according to the usage and requirements. The greater the thickness, the higher the strength and wear resistance, but it will also affect its thermal conductivity.
The dimensions of tungsten copper strip can vary according to different applications and are usually described in terms of thickness, width and length. For example, common tungsten copper strips have a thickness of 0.1mm to 2mm, a width of 10mm to 300mm, and a length of 100mm to 300mm. The specific size can be customized according to the needs of customers.
Copper-tungsten alloy metal composites produce a dense, hard metal with low thermal expansion, good thermal and electrical conductivity, excellent arc resistance, excellent wear resistance, and high-temperature strength. Typical applications include tungsten copper rods, tungsten copper sheets, tungsten copper blocks, heat sinks, packaging sheets, EDM electrodes, high voltage arc contacts, electrical contacts, vacuum contacts, electrodes for resistance welding and spark erosion, microwave carriers, military components, etc.
